【告知】 Tori Amos will release "Sin Palabras" instrumental album

Tori Amos （トーリ・エイモス）が2011年12月13日に新作 "Sin Palabras" をリリースすると、オフィシャルプレスリリースが出ました。このアルバムは、2011年9月20日に発売済みの Night of Hunters の Instrumental バージョンでデジタル配信のみで発売されると告知されています。以下プレスリリースより引用。

Tori Amos will release Sin Palabras, the instrumental version of this year’s acclaimed Night of Hunters album, on December 13 via Deutsche Grammophon. It will be available at all digital retailers. On Night of Hunters, Tori created a 21st century song cycle with variations on themes by Satie, Granados, Chopin and other great composers. Sin Palabras provides a completely new listening experience and perspective on the compositions by stripping the vocals and putting Tori’s adventurous arrangements and virtuosic playing, along with that of The Apollon Musagete Quartet and the Berlin Philharmonic clarinet soloist Andreas Ottensamer, at the forefront. Fans who have already or will purchase Night of Hunters will be able to download the instrumental version of Night of Hunters’ title track via the “Bonus” tab on Tori’s official Facebook, www.facebook.com/toriamos, beginning Friday December 2. That same day, Tori will be interviewed on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz at 9 AM EST/ 8 AM CST.

A new short film for Night of Hunters’centerpiece “Star Whisperer” premiered on Sundance Channel this week. The film was shot in Ireland near the River Bandon, which Tori used as the setting for Night of Hunters.

Following a sold out tour of Europe and South Africa, the North American leg of the Night of Hunters Tour began this week at Atlanta‘s Cobb Energy Performance Arts Center and will concludes December 22 at Dallas’s Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie. North American tour dates are listed below and ticket information can be found on ToriAmos.com. Tori is accompanied by The Apollon Musagete Quartet on this tour. Thomas Dybdahl will open all dates through December 18.

We have some exciting news to report. Tori has a new album titled Night of Hunters set for September release. The album will coming out via the world’s most celebrated classical label, Deutsche Grammophon.

Here’s how Tori describes the new record:

"It's a 21st century song cycle inspired by classical music themes spanning over 400 years. I have used the structure of a song cycle to tell an ongoing, modern story. The protagonist is a woman who finds herself in the dying embers of a relationship. In the course of one night she goes through an initiation of sorts that leads her to reinvent herself allowing the listener to follow her on a journey to explore complex musical and emotional subject matter. One of the main themes explored on this album is the hunter and the hunted and how both exist within us.”

Songs of Love for Japan (SOLFJ) is a relief effort in response to the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that shook the northeast coast of Japan on March 11th for a full six minutes. The devastating earthquake triggered a massive tsunami and a partial meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear power plant. There are more than 28,000 known dead or missing and total damages exceed $300 billion. Many affected families are without food, clean water, or shelter.

SOLFJ is a three-day, 72-hour flash sale of great music for a great cause. The cornerstone of the sale is a $100 compilation of 100 rare and unique songs donated from 100 leading artists. Tori Amos （トーリ・エイモス）が10月8日にアムステルダム・Heineken Music Hall で The Metropole Orchestra と行ったコンサートの模様が、オランダのラジオ局 Radio 6 で放送されます。

放送予定日は、12月20日月曜日23時から（現地時間）。
日本での時刻は、12月21日火曜日午前7時になります。

インターネットラジオでも放送されるので、日本からも番組を聴くことができます。
